Anusha Sehgal, BAMS MD(Ayurveda)
Anusha Sehgal is a classically trained Ayurvedic practitioner with over 15 years of experience in teaching, practice and research in the field of Ayurveda. She has a BAMS degree from the renowned Ayurveda College Coimbatore and a Masters in Ayurvedic Pharmaceutics from Rajiv Gandhi University, Bangalore. She has taught classical Ayurveda at all levels of education both in India and the US. She has been involved in controversial research regarding standardization, quality control and safety of Ayurvedic medicines.
Anusha Sehgal is a strong advocate for generating awareness of authentic Ayurveda through teaching, presentations and writing. She has worked with various groups including Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), India and L’Oreal Research and Innovation team. She is currently involved with the Indo US Health Initiative, focused on mainstreaming Ayurveda and Integrative medicine. She also serves as the chair of the NAMA Certification Board (NAMACB) and is faculty at the Boston Ayurveda School and Ayurvedic Health Education.
Parivallal Thillaigovindan, BAMS MSc. MPH
Parivallal Thillaigovindan is a classically trained Ayurvedic practitioner with over 20 years of clinical and research experience in the field of Ayurveda. He has a BAMS degree from the renowned Ayurveda College Coimbatore, a Masters in Psychology from University of Madras and a Masters in Public Health from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore. Dr. Thillaigovindan has a special interest in clinical research and public health in Ayurveda.
He has worked with many premier institutes such as AVT Institute for Advanced Research (AVTAR), Madras Diabetes Research Foundation (MDRF), Foundation for Revitalization of Local Health Tradition (FRLHT), and Ayurvaid Discovery Foundation (ADF). He was instrumental in clinical trials which evaluated the safety and efficacy of Ayurvedic formulas in the management of diabetes and its complications. He is experienced in management and execution of entire clinical process to evaluate the efficacy of Ayurvedic interventions. Parivallal Thillaigovindan is professionally trained in GCP and ethical practices in clinical research as well as instructed health professionals in the concepts of Ayurveda and public health.
